September 26, 2011, Ashburn, VA—Brainware, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent data capture and enterprise search solutions, announced today that an American Lawyer A-List law firm has selected Brainware Distiller for the efficient automation of accounts payable processing.  By integrating with the firm’s Elite ERP platform—a specialized application designed to handle the unique demands and specifications associated with the legal field—Distiller will enable the customer to gain increased visibility into their financial operations and reduce their invoice processing costs.

In securing this contract, Brainware personnel demonstrated firsthand their application’s superior capabilities for classification, line-item capture and straight-through processing using the firm’s own documents.  The customer’s routine is such that nearly half of all invoices are one-time only; as such, they cited Distiller’s ability to pull data from a vast number of invoice formats, without requiring users to create templates or rule sets for each, as a key selling point.

The customer also noted the value of acquiring immediate visibility into their accounts payable process.  In addition to reducing costs by minimizing manual data entry, Distiller’s Visibility module will enable them to eliminate redundancies and flag costly duplicate invoices.
